Kelip Kelip

Kelip Kelip is the Malay name for Fireflies though in the real English translation, Kelip Kelip means Twinkle. Kampung Kuantan is the name of a small village 8 km from Kuala Selangor in the State of Selangor,or 40 km from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is known for its Fireflies and is one of the famous tourist attractions in Malaysia as this is one of the few places in the world where the colony of fireflies thrive.

A Fattah Yatim: I am just an ordinary guy who has his roots in the village of Kampung Kuantan. My father's ancestry is 2 km west of Kampung Kuantan and my mother's ancestry is 1 km east of Kampung Kuantan. Now you get it, why this blog is called Kampung Kuantan?
